Subject: Ceramic bearings in steel races - wear problems ?
|
Time for repack on my '06 Eurus hubs and thinking about ceramic bearings. (Please, no flames - I'm not expecting performance miracles and my kids won't starve.) These are loose balls. Any problems with the disparate hardness of ceramic bearings and steel races vis a vis wear ? I'm thinking not since hybrid cartridge bearings are made this way, but I'm not sure. Any input appreciated. Lou D'Amelio
