Subject: Dimensions for Viam FH M525 please
I am buying spokes for a hub that I don't have in my hand. According
to the owner, it is a Shimano Viam FH-M525. Can anyone help with its
dimensions, for the purpose of buying spokes please.

here is a page with its data:
http://www.shimano.com.au/catalog/cycle/products/component.jsp?JSESSIONID=G7GZ4Cf3slypv9MypQJkXP5HF1vBhrLqsBksbCL7JxNQLTGNrMYG!312911005&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441762949&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302037240&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474395181400&bmUID=1182516249128

the 'via' stamp on shimano products has to do with an industrial
standard they're made to. it's not the model.

I believe it's the same as most other small flange Shimano hubs. You
could sub any number of those hubs in the Spocalc spreadsheet and get
a proper spoke length.
