Subject: Does this frame have horizontal dropouts
Hi!

I am about to pickup a Univega VIVA Sport that is a great size for me
but I'm not sure if it has horizontal dropouts, and if not if I could
still easily convert it to a fixie.

Any advice?

/joe :)

Aha, but how do they align the left and right bearings?

There's nothing really new about this -- it's essentially the same thing
as a tandem eccentric BB to tension the timing chain:

That is a wheel hub, not a BB.

Yes, I would like to see this too. Must have very small bearings.

Even if it doesn't there is a new BB on the market that is eccentric and
fits a standard BB shell giving 1/2" movement so you can tension even with
vert dropouts.

It should, a bit short if I remember right, but long enough to give
you room to tension.
