Got a road bike with Ultegra and considering switching a triple for the existing double. What parts have to be switched out to do that properly? Thanks.

You'll need a bottom bracket, left shifter and *maybe* front deraileur (and right crank of course) Cheers Joel -- Human Powered Cycles

Assuming you have 10 speed (6600 series) Ultegra you would need a crankset, front derailer, rear derailer and front shifter. If you have the last generation, 6500 , 9- speed, you need a new crankset, bottom bracket, front derailer, rear derailer.
