Subject: FERRETTI pantographed Campagnolo Record-C chainring
I have a Campagnolo Record-C chainring with the name FERRETTI engraved
or pantographed on it. The text is colord yellow and three diagonal
striped on each side of the text with the Italian flag colors in them.
I don't recall any bike frame brand with that name, neither a PRO team
with that name. I wonder if this ring comes from Giancarlo Ferretti,
last manager of the FASSA BARTOLO pro team. Does any one has some
information. Regards, Fernando

James, Thanks for the information. I saw the pictures but the date
from early 80's (if not earlier) and the Record-C is a later group.
Thanks a lot for the info.

It seems that there was indeed a Ferretti pro team:

Ferretti SRL (the team sponsor) is a manufacturer of kitchen cabinets:

http://www.ferretticucine.it/

but it's not an uncommon name.

Looks like that's what it is! Compagnolo's tribute to Ferretti...
