Subject: Headset riser for 1.25 steerer?
|
Anyone know of a source for said item? Lots of 1.125 risers and some 1.0's, but I can't find any for 1.25. I beat up a disc in my back and both the Doc. and PT say I need to bring my bars up a couple of inches. Easy on my fast bike and rain bike, but I'm struggling with our tandem since the stem is already on the rise. My next-best solution is one of these risers, if I can find one. Thanks, -pete

You could leave the steerer uncut, and if that's not high enough, extenders are easily available in that diameter.

Yeah, I noticed those reducers and thought about that idea. Pretty pricey thou'. I'm really glad Santana has an extender they sell for $40! -pete "Hank Wirtz" <hank@wirtznet.net > wrote in message news:1179584806.343816.244360@n59g2000hsh.googlegroups.com... > On May 17, 2:37 pm, "Pete Grey" <p...@hotmail.com> wrote: >> Anyone know of a source for said item? >> Lots of 1.125 risers and some 1.0's, but I can't find any for 1.25. >> I beat up a disc in my back and both the Doc. and PT say I need to bring >> my >> bars up a couple of inches.
