Hit a grease spot in a turn last week and took a nice little slide.

The bike wasn't too bad off, just some scuffed bar tape and the like.
I did, however, manage to dislodge and lose the little plastic dust
cap from the 1999 Ultegra 6500 brifter.

I've replaced it before -- a friendly LBS had an old lever that had
stopped ratcheting and pulled it off. I stopped by and asked for
another one but no luck.

Anybody know where to find another one of these little annoyances?

Scott

Check with your LBS. I had some work done on my bike recently and at
the end of it an old, scratched up dust cap was missing. I remarked
on it to the LBS. They immediately pulled out a box containing a
whole bunch of new dust caps and put one on my bike.

And Scott, if that doesn't work post again or email me -- I may have
one in a box I have to dig out anyway this weekend.
