I bought some crescent wrenches to allow me to tighten the lock-rings
on the cassettes and they are both too small (doh!) If someone knows
offhand what size it requires I would appreciate it.

My chain whips go back to the freewheel days when you used 2 rather
than one with a key.

If someone also knows a way to connect one of those Park Tools
cassette ring driver to a torque wrench, I would appreciate that even
more.

TIA

Becuase in addition to being a cassette tool, it's also a bottom
bracket tool. The hole is for the spindle to fit through.

All the FR line uses a 1-inch hex. Use a 1" socket to drive these
with a torque wrench.

Hello,

My Park FR-5 freewheel/lockring tool works just fine with my 1"
combination wrench. It's got a circular opening in the back so I can't
use it with a ratchet or breaker (which annoys me; why can't it be a
1/2 or 3/8" square hole instead of a round hole?).

I've never had to use it with a torque wrench, but I do have a 1",
1/2" drive impact socket if I ever want to. The socket is part of a
cheap set from Harbor Freight which has held up surprisingly well
considering the price.

Good luck,

Uh, just a half inch drive ratchet or breaker with a socket?

I have a Trek-branded one that will take a ratchet driver. 3/8"? Is that
the typical "medium" ratchet driver standard?

It's probably made for them by Wrench Force or similar,
