I have had no luck finding a quick release front rack, does it exist or is there a way to modify a quick release rear rack? I have stumbled because my rear ones don't separate so can't get it around front tube.

Most people I've seen don't use a removable rack on the front, they mount pannier frames and just take the bags off rather than dismounting the support structure. Trying to mount a rack to the head tube could be a bad idea; it's likely to interfere with the front brake cable. I've seen one quick-release front basket system, but the size of the basket was small and the whole thing was cheaply made. -- Typoes are a feature, not a bug.
