Subject: Reminder to the cycling newsgroups from Ed Dolan the Great - VIII
You may have noticed that I am now posting my seminal messages to quite a
few of the cycling newsgroups. If and when you want to respond to any of my
messages, be sure that they get to ARBR. The rest of the cycling newsgroups
are just too fucking stupid for me to ever look in on them. I am not known
far and wide as Ed Dolan the Great for nothing.

One other thing, if and when you post your odious messages to a newsgroup
other than ARBR, they will not come to my attention and so will not be
answered with the contempt they so richly deserve. It is up to you if you
merely want to mutter things to yourself or if you want to engage a mighty
intellect. Post to ARBR or get lost!

Regards,

Ed Dolan the Great - Minnesota
aka
Saint Edward the Great - Order of the Perpetual Sorrows - Minnesota

PS. You do not want to ever engage Saint Edward the Great on matters of
morality. He is a very Great Saint indeed and even Ed Dolan the Great fears
Him. Nay, it is best to let a sleeping Saint lie.

The very best advice I could give to all of my underlings like you is to
never post anything on Usenet unless it is to a moderated newsgroup (one
with an editor). All you will ever reap on unmoderated newsgroups are fools
and idiots like myself and Tom Sherman.

I hear the fools and idiots are complaining at the comparison. ;)

You're just as fucked up as that pile of shit is,
and don't have anything intelligent to say.

I think you meant maroon, not moron. Well, at least now you know why I do
not bother to post my words of wisdom to the racing newsgroup. They are even
dumber than the mountain newsgroup.

Always good to hear from a one note Johnny like Fab. But he needs a Fred
here on ARBR so he can post his witless witticisms about how slow recumbents
are compared to a freak like him on his fucking upright.

Mr. Ed is not a moron, he is a misanthrope.

Awwwww, what's wrong? Did the cute Asian real estate lady ignore you
while you were wearing your best poseur outfit?

I see that you and Ed are titans made for each other -- both masters
of the apt phrase. My hat is off to both of you. Thank you for adding
the spice to an otherwise insipid forum!

Tom Sherman is much more mellow than I am. He will occasionally get slightly
irritated but he never becomes enraged like I do. Hells Bells, it is the
difference between someone of Danish ancestry like him and someone of Irish
ancestry like me.

I admire scholarly discourse above any other kind and Mike Vandeman does
that better than anyone else on Usenet, at least when he is not having to
respond to the idiotic posts of the idiotic mountain bikers.
