Subject: Removing branding from bike
Hello

I have a 2005 Specialized Hardrock. What I'd like to do is remove all
the branding from the frame so it's pure silver. Is there an effective
way to remove the stickers without ruining the underlying paint?

Thanks!

Stickers or decals can be removed easily with a bit of heat (hair dryer heat
not oxy heat :-) any gum left after can be removed with a hot water and
soap.

Cheers

Hi all

Thanks for the suggestions.

I'll give my better half's hair dryer a try!

Are they stickers or decals? I once removed some decals from a bike by
scratching with the edge of my fingernail....

If they're not clear coated, a heat gun is the fastest method. Clean
residue with thinner in a well ventilated area.
