Subject: Replacing spider/chainrings?
I have a set of Caramba Double Barrel mountain bike cranks that I like
a lot.

It's a triple setup, with the crank arms attached to the two larger
chainrings formed from one CNC'd peice of aluminum. The granny ring is
bolted onto the rest.

Trouble is, I've let the middle chainring get worn, so I guess I'm in
the market for a new spider and rings. Caramba, the company, is long
gone, and I've never dealt with replacing a spider. Anyone know if I
can use the Caramba crank with another company's spider/rings? Any
recommendations?

Thanks.

Scott

BikePro's website hasn't been updated SINCE the ano-crazed mid-90s. I
wonder who's still paying their hosting.

Ah, Caramba... They and Kooka bring back a memory of ano-crazed mid-90s
boutique crak era. I still have Sidewinders. Bikepro still lists DBs, so
you may want to give them a call:
