It certainly gives new meaning to the term 'wedgie'

That is stupid, crass and completely inappropiate. You are a child,
Sandy, and should be better supervised when using a computer.

Oh please, don't be so prudish!

Why does our culture glorify violence, yet find sex inappropriate [1]?

[1] Unless, of course, it is being used to sell consumer goods.

I'm not disturbed by it, but I'm glad I was reading it from home. Some
people read Usenet at work and their employers are not so enlightened as
you or I. Not to say I think Sandy shouldn't have posted it, but a NSFW
warning tag would have been appropriate.

Previously I had Sandy mentally tagged as a trusted poster, who I could
open links without worrying about such things. In future, Sandy will
not be in that category.

But of course! If breasts are exposed, it must be for a profit! But
not an immoral profit like pornography. It should be for something like
the greater glory of selling cars, beer or... powertools:

I would consider reading and/or posting to Usenet to be a "NSFW"
activity. Work computers are for work, after all.

So if I work in a bike shop I shouldn't be able to post and read r.b.t.
on work hours?

I drop in throughout the day and evening at work- when on hold on the
phone, while eating, when I have a second. Fulfills my 'breadth'
requirement and a healthy break from wrestling Chinese bikes. Definitely
'OK at work' here, I encourage my employees to visit as well.

Outside bicycles, metalworking, etc I can see where a manager might look
askance on an employee perusing RBT rather than generating revenue.
There is a place for breadth I believe, scale may be a problem.

I won't say you're wrong. I'm simply saying I view it as common
courtesy to post a warning before linking to anything controversial. As
I mentioned, I read it at home myself.

Anyway, the Merry Saddles link is much better. But I admire the
ingenuity that went into the device. Maybe the inventor should apply
for a job at fuckingmachines.com.

I fail to see an adjustment for angle, which could lead to discomfort
instead of pleasure.

Does the mounting to the upper chain wheel slide along the spider arm
for adjustable stroke (the picture is too small to see the attachment
clearly)?

There's a MUCH nastier (and more inappropriate) version of that out there.
Been around 7-8 years at least.
