I just got a bike with a Shimano Ultegra ten speed drive train. I am experienced with Campagnolo components but have little knowledge of Shimano. I noticed that the locknut on the cassette is tight but the cogs still move around. Is this normal or is there a spacer missing? With Campy the cogs don't move at all. Neal

Many think that the CS-6600 work correctly on the FH-6600 without the 1 mm spacer,,,.... so they leave i out. If this is the combination you have, you need the 1 mm spacer -- daveornee
