Yea, parting is such sweet sorrow, but I am getting god damn close to it
really being final!
What the fuck is wrong with all these cycling newsgroups? They are just so
stupid as to defy anyone's intelligence. It seems I am now engaged with a
mad Chinaman who only posts one-liners. I swear I am being driven stark
raving mad myself by all the idiots who populate these freaking cycling
newsgroups. Soon I will be just as stupid as all the rest of you!
But I am not Great for no reason. Nay, I shall not descend to your low
level. After all, I am not only Great, but a Great Saint besides. Last
winter I walked on water at the local lake.
Well, I will save my expletives for the final moment. Aye, you will miss me
when I am gone, but there will be no calling me back. When I am finally
gone, I will really be gone. All your wailing and weeping and gnashing of
teeth will not bring me back. Ask yourself what your freaking cycling group
would be like without the Great Ed Dolan. My God ... it will be like the end
of the world!

What will newsgroups be like without his presence he asks. Well ...
there will be more on topic posts and civility and serenity will will
be restored. After his next "final" departure, Ed Dolan actually
expects to be begged to return? Delusion can be such a comfort?

Without me these groups would soon descend to being nothing but a stomping
ground for liberals, full of their ever cowardly and treasonous rot. Nay,
this must not be allowed to happen - and so it will not for so long as I
continue to hover about these freaking-cycling-newsgroups (all one word).
