Subject: The magic number of 10,000 is approaching ...

It appears that I will be soon approaching the magic number of 10,000 posts
to these freaking cycling newsgroups ("freaking cycling newsgroups" is all
one word). If and when I exceed that magic number I think I will take my 9th
and final farewell from all you slobs. Even now I am preparing my final
farewell which as usual will be a humdinger! However, I think a 10th and
final farewell would be even better since we all think in term of decimals.
I am of a mixed mind as to whether a moderated forum or an unmoderated forum
works best. I can see the pros and cons either way. I guess in the final
analysis I come down on the side of an unmoderated forum with the proviso
that mostly nothing intelligent will ever get said. If any of you are taking
any of these unmoderated newsgroups seriously, I urge you to get to a
psychiatrist in order that you may discover what is wrong with you.
These newsgroups are strictly for fun and games. Hey, if you are not having
any fun, then you should leave. Each and every time I come unto these
newgrousp I am determined to have some fun. It can be either at my expense
or at yours. That does not matter in the slightest. But it does matter that
I have some fun. I hope that you are all having some fun too.
