On the other hand, if it's just warm and not hot, there may be an acceptable tradeoff. I doubt you can hurt your leg muscles by wearing warm clothes, so long as your body core temperature stays reasonable. I know my legs seems to function better when warm (or very warm), so I'll wear tights when many of my companions are in shorts. I have to pay more attention to hydration/electrolytes than they do as a consequence, 'cause then I sweat a lot. Just so long as overall performance doesn't suffer due to overheating/dehydration/electrolyte loss, wear what you like, and see how it works out. Mark J.
