specific models, but all of them continue to use the company's unique
Torque Transfer Flange design which it says delivers faster

gee I got them soft hubs..guess why I don't accelerate fast...dohh!!!

So only retro grouches think that $900 is absurd for wheels that are
boat anchor heavy and not terribly aerodynamic? Please tell us what
you think is so special about these wheels that make them such glowing
examples of modern wheel technology.

Wrong movie, dude. You're thinking of "Friday the 13th". Micheal Myers
is dead, but keeps getting revived like a bad Usenet thread.
OTOH, maybe *I* am Micheal Myers. The movie was filmed in my hometown
of South Pasadena:

acceleration due to hub flange stiffness variations is negligible.

Nope..even with Campag hubs...Surley/Soma hubset and spokes/
rim...about $300

If only people behind you can see the hubs, and they are repelled, then
